This Cooka's Cookies Cake in a Box gift set was designed as a festive treat to make for your dog, perfect for marking an occasion or simply creating a special moment to share. The box contains a krill-based (small marine crustacean) preparation, a coconut and beef tripe frosting, dogfetti, and a surprise, all presented in a gift-ready format.

The recipe features a cake mix with dehydrated krill (35%), combined with oats, cassava flour, flax seeds, and rosemary extract. The glaze combines coconut milk powder, potato starch, and beef tripe powder for a rich finish that complements the pastry theme.

For decoration, the dogfetti is made of oats and naturally colored plant powders: spirulina (blue and green), turmeric, spinach, moringa, beetroot, carob, coconut activated charcoal, and purple sweet potato. The combination creates a playful visual effect while remaining focused on the experience: a gift that delights the dog and a thoughtful gesture for animal-loving humans.

User guide

Instructions for use

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Pour the cake mix into a bowl and mix the dry ingredients well.
  3. Add 200 ml of water and 4 tablespoons of oil, then mix until you obtain a smooth paste.
  4. Pour the batter into a silicone mold, or shape a cake by hand according to the desired shape.
  5. Bake at 180°C for approximately 40 minutes (approximately 1 hour depending on the type of oven).
  6. Prepare the icing: pour the mixture into a bowl, mix the dry ingredients, add 45 ml of water, stir, then coat the cake and decorate with the Dogfetti.
  7. Colour option: it is possible to tint the icing with natural colours (e.g. beetroot or turmeric).
  8. Serve as a treat, with water always available.

Indicative rations
Small dog 5–10 kg: 1 to 2 portions per 24 h (20–40 g).
Medium dog 10–25 kg: 2 to 3 portions per 24 h (40–80 g).
Large dog 25–40 kg: 3 to 4 portions per 24 h (80–120 g).

Store in a dry, dark place. The best before date and batch number are indicated on the bottom of the box.
