Salmon and Trout Croquettes for Adult Dogs

These salmon and trout kibbles are formulated for adult large breed dogs. The recipe contains a total of 50% fish, with 33% freshly prepared salmon and trout, 15% dried salmon, and 2% salmon broth. This high proportion of fish provides animal protein, an appealing marine flavor, and fatty acids naturally found in oily fish.

Sweet potato accounts for 24% of the recipe. It replaces cereals as a carbohydrate source and provides energy in a formula more suitable for dogs sensitive to recipes containing wheat, corn, or rice. Peas, beet pulp, and flax seeds complete the meal with fiber, useful for promoting regular digestion and well-formed stools.

The recipe also contains prebiotics, referred to as FOS and MOS in the ingredients. Their role is to nourish the good bacteria in the gut, to support digestive balance. This is a real strong point for kibbles intended for large dogs, who need a complete, nutritious, and well-tolerated diet.

The formula also includes glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM. Glucosamine and chondroitin help maintain cartilage, while MSM provides a source of organic sulfur useful for joint comfort. These contributions are particularly relevant for adult large breed dogs, whose weight puts more strain on joints and mobility.

These kibbles are served as a complete food, with a portion to be adjusted according to the dog's weight, activity, physical condition, and appetite.
